What is LGREP?

The Local Governance and Rural Empowerment Project for Davao Region (LGREP) is a capacity improvement project, which target on the member Local Government Units (LGUs) of the Davao Integrated Development Program (DIDP). It aims to achieve the capacity improvement of LGUs through trainings on groundwater, water facilities and community organizations development, and implementation of pilot projects. LGREP was commenced by DIDP with support of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in July 2007.
