Digos CityLand Area and Political SubdivisionDavao City is the Largest city in the world in terms of land area totaling 2,443.61 sq. kms. it is a highly urbanized city with eleven (11) political districts, namely: Agdao, Baguio, Buhangin, Bunawan, Calinan, Marilog, Paquibato, Poblacion, Talomo, Toril and Tugbok; and 180 barangays. LocationIt is situated in the Southeastern part of the Philippines bounded on the north by Davao del Norte; on the south by Davao del Sur; on the east by the Davao del Norte and the Davao Gulf, on the west by North Cotabato. This strategy location established Davao City as the premiere center for business, trade and education in Mindanao. Geography and ClimateThe predominant terrain of the region is mountainous. The City and its outskirts are marked with rolling hills sloping down to fertile valleys. Mountain ranges straddle the rest of the countryside.
