P86.611 Million Budget of DIDP IFSP Proposed for FY 2012
Last February 2011, the DIDP Project Management Office submitted the Budget Proposal of its Integrated Food Security Program for FY 2012 to the Special Projects Coordination and Management Division (SPCMAD) of the DA Central Office. The proposed budget totaled P86.611 Million which is within the budget ceiling given by DA. Of this, P83.4 Million (96.3%) is allocated for Farm-to-Market Road Projects and P3.211 Million (3.7%) is for the support to Project Management.
The funds for FMRs are distributed equitably among the 10 member-LGUs of the DIDP. The provinces and Davao City are allocated with P11.8 Million each, and the component cities with P4.88 Million each. Total targeted length of the FMRs is 24 kilometers.
On the other hand, the activities for Project Management include the conduct of coordination meetings and consultations, validation and monitoring of projects, generation of reports and the participation in local trade fairs.
