DIDP-DOH Partnership Explored During the DIDP Presentation to DOH ExeCom
Last February 7, 2011, the DIDP presented its proposal for a possible partnership between the DIDP and DOH before the DOH Executive Committee (ExeCom) chaired by Sec. Enrique T. Ona.
After the briefer about the DIDP and its projects, the presentation highlighted how the proposed partnership between the LGUs through the DIDP and the National Government through DOH, is aligned with the convergence approach espoused by President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, and how it will work to the advantage of the delivery of quality health services in the Davao Region. The DIDP also presented a draft Implementing Structure for the various DOH projects that will be implemented under the proposed partnership.
The DIDP contingent was led by Gov. Rodolfo del Rosario and composed of Atty. Wendel Avisado (DIDP Executive Director), Engr. Grace Magalona (DIDP Acting Asst. Executive Director), Engr. Josie Jean Rabanoz (Davao del Norte PPEDO Department Head and DIDP Coordinator); and, Romulo Tagalo (Executive Assistant to Gov. del Rosario).
